Nominations are open for the 2024 Women in Supply Chain award, presented by Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics. This award recognizes female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments set a foundation for women in all levels of a company’s supply chain network.

The key to a winning submission???? Answer in complete sentences, provide as much detail and information as possible, be sure to tell a story of the nominee's journey and achievements. There are no character or word count limits. Provide examples, be thorough. Those submissions with little information or incomplete sentences generally do not win.

NEW THIS YEAR: This year's Women in Supply Chain award is broken down into four distinct categories. Select (1):  

--> Rising Stars -- Recognizes young or newer professionals (39 and under) whose achievements, hard work and vision have shaped the supply chain network.

--> Trailblazers -- Honors female leaders who continue to pave the way for future females in logistics. Must have at least 10 years’ documented experience in supply chain and logistics.

--> DEI Pioneer – Celebrates female leaders who continue to create and execute diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. DEI does not need to be in the nominee’s title to apply; but must be able to showcase clear examples of DEI efforts in the submission.

--> Workforce Innovator – Pays tribute to those female leaders whose efforts in supply chain education and workforce development help build a better workforce.


ALSO NEW THIS YEAR: There will be (1) overall winner per category, in addition to the regular winners. The four overall winners will be selected based on online votes from the supply chain industry. From there, the four overall winners will receive the highest-level promotional package, which includes:

--> Executive Profile in Online Article (Logo & Company Bio)
--> Virtual Video Interview, posted to FoodLogistics.com and SDCExec.com.
 --> Company Logo Placement in Overall Winner Interview – Scrolls Along Bottom of Video Player
 --> Logo License (unlimited rights and full access to include, share and embed the award logo anywhere, everywhere at all times).
 --> A Commemorative Plaque

2023 Women in Supply Chain winners as well as winners from this year's Women in Supply Chain award will receive a special code for a discounted rate on registration to this year's Women in Supply Chain Forum, scheduled Nov. 12-13 in Atlanta. 

This year’s theme, “Shattering Glass Ceilings: A Woman’s Impact on Supply Chain,” will bring together leading experts in the industry to discuss mentorship, self-advocacy, collaboration, closing the gender gap and what it takes to move the needle and pave the way for future female leaders in logistics.

The 1.5-day agenda consists of panel discussions, breakout sessions, speed dating-type networking, a discussion with our four overall Women in Supply Chain winners and Supply Chain Jeopardy. And, Keynote Speaker Jennifer Kobus, SVP, Supply Chain Planning & Operations for Ulta Beauty, will delve into the importance of culture, advocacy, and the crucial themes of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
