Los Angeles, CA — August 26, 2008 — Adexa, Inc., this week initiated its Safe Harbor Program for i2 customers. Under the initiative, i2 customers will receive a one-to-one exchange of Adexa's supply chain planning applications that are equivalent to previously owned i2 products, at no cost.
Adexa said the Safe Harbor initiative, with a solution road map backed by Adexa's maintenance and support, is meant to create a safe harbor away from uncertainties and disruptions related to the acquisition of i2 by JDA and its future technology direction.
"These are uncertain times for i2, and we understand that their customer-base may be concerned," said Cyrus Hadavi, president and CEO, Adexa. "Top companies cannot take a chance with their supply chains. They need a clear direction, updated capabilities and unquestionable commitment to their respective industries. This program is about peace of mind, and we hope it's perceived as a big welcome sign from Adexa."
Adexa said that its solutions work for discrete industries, including Semiconductors, High Tech/Electronics, Heavy Industries, and Consumer Packaged Goods.
In addition, according to Adexa, the program is designed to leverage the existing planning and integration infrastructure of a company. The transition to the Safe Harbor begins with a three-day assessment study by Adexa's Strategic Business Services group at no cost. It is then followed by recommendations and an action plan and timeline.
